Anxiety
Anxiety can come in different forms. Sometimes it looks like panic attacks—chest pain, hyperventilating, feeling like you’re going crazy. Other times it looks like constantly second-guessing yourself, fearing failure when everything else feels aligned. It can look like stress from taking on too many things at once because you think that achieving more makes you more valuable. It shows up in your relationships with others—constant arguments, trust issues, questioning if you’ve made the right choices.
Many people will experience an anxiety disorder in their lifetime and this number is rising after the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Despite anxiety being very treatable, only about 1/3rd of people actually receive treatment.
You can reduce the intensity of anxiety you experience. At the very least, I can help you manage it better. Depending on your circumstances, you could find yourself to be more present, less reactive, and able to re-engage in the activities you enjoy most.
